Xan majored in Fine Arts and Ceramics. She approaches drawing, body painting, pottery, photography and cooking as living art. Being vegetarian for 35 years and vegan for several years, her cooking style emphasizes taste and nutrition. Her passion for plant based food includes knowing where food comes from, reducing the carbon footprint, caring for the soil, growing a vegetable garden and defining food as 'health on a plate'. Beach Veggie became a first for her and Wasaga Beach with its 100% vegan menu. Her little takeout with a big heart moved on to private catering and take home options with the same dedication to clean eating.
Beach Veggie opened in Summer 2019 and was first located in Main Street Market in the heart of Wasaga Beach. We met an overwhelming demand from June 1st to
September 1st for delicious and
healthy vegan takeout. We continue our commitment to reducing the carbon footprint by using eco-friendly compostable containers and wooden cutlery.
